September 2006 – After the end of the band Liptocoal, Daniel decides to increase his focus on redwall MUSIC and grow the business.

November 2006 – redwall MUSIC releases it’s first record Nema. This record still sells in small doses to this day.

2007 – 2008 – Daniel Sells Truck Insurance for The Trucker’s Choice while working redwall MUSIC on the side.

August 2008 – Daniel Herndon decides the music business is for the birds and ditches redwall MUSIC to start redwall LIVE, an event marketing company.

September 2008 – The USA financial market plummets which makes it very easy to quit selling any kind of financial product. Focus is turned on redwall LIVE, and Daniel goes full time with it.

October 2008 – redwall LIVE lands a national deal with Murphy USA through a partnership with an event planning company in Texas to do grand opening events at new stores.

December 2008 – Daniel realizes that people think he plans events and begins to describe his services as “Experiential Marketing” meaning marketing that creates an experience.

February 2009 – redwall hires its first FULL TIME employee besides the owner. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

March 2009 – It wasn’t

March 2009 – redwall completes an Indianapolis community event with a local state representative to raise money for the Jake Laird Foundation. They raise good money and get news coverage on 3 local TV stations due to redwall PR and marketing skills.

July 2009 – redwall begins preparing “The Shiny Coat Tangle,” a social media contest that actually delivered ROI. Client PET SUPPLIES “PLUS” of Indianapolis begins a long term relationship as a very good client.

November 2009 – PSPIndy.com gets 5,000 hits a day and owner Nick Milano gets live news coverage for living in a cage, people start to know what redwall means by “experiential”.

December 2009 – Daniel Herndon and Darren Heil live in a van to raise money for a non profit CFI (now YMI) broadcasting on Forkout.org. They get much blog and social media coverage and an article in USA Today nationally.

February 2010 – redwall LIVE launches a tour fully funded and equipped by donations (even clothing) for Susan G. Komen of Indianapolis. Daniel Herndon and Kyle Lacy hit the road to raise money to fight breast cancer.

July 2010 –  redwall LIVE decides to grow up and start investing in professional office space and moves in with another creative company.

August 2010 – The redwall team gets stronger and capabilities and skills skyrocket as we bring on Senior Project Director, Adam Bocik.

September 2010 – The Company redwall LIVE is renting space from went out of business and vacated their space abruptly. redwall LIVE is now looking for space.

October 2010 –  redwall LIVE finds a sweet 1,000 square feet of unused space in the studio with Sonar Studios. They forge a great working partnership.

January 2011 – CEO Daniel Herndon is featured in the IBJ Forty under 40 as a young business leader and outstanding success story in Indiana.

January 2011 – redwall anticipates growth and brings on 3 interns to “compete” on the job for a permanent position. Blaise, Garret and Chris are on the roster, it’s sort of like The Apprentice.

March 2011 – Blaise Vincz is awarded a full time (paid) position as graphic designer, because of his cool name (SAY: bl-A-z), work ethic and commitment to quality.

June 2011 – redwall LIVE realizes a strong skill in effective email marketing and makes it one of their core services along with digital campaigns.

July 2011 – Daniel Herndon is asked by Wiley Publishing to write Facebook All In One for Dummies with co-author Melanie Nelson.

September 2011 – redwall LIVE tracks 200% growth for 3 years straight. Blaise get’s a promotion to “more than just full time”.

October 2011 – The first full time business development professional, Ben Murray is brought on. He’s not aloud to sell right away until redwall hires more staff following record sales growth.

October 2011 – We just got a book in the mail (A copy of Visual Marketing) which we were featured in on page 94.

November 2011 – Heather Chapman Joined redwall LIVE as Marketing Communications Manager after 3 years experience in the marketing and completing her MBA.
